Donate fabric, volunteer, inquire about collaborations, or apply for a committee role

We are not currently accepting monetary donations, so please find below several other ways you can help us in our mission to reduce fabric waste and make a difference in the local community.

Donate Fabric

We welcome thoughtful donations that help us stock our fabric supply and fill care packages for youth at our community partners.

We currently accept:

Clean, gently used clothing in all sizes
New bedsheets
Curtains
Fabric tablecloths
Bags and tote bags
Fabric (and fabric scraps!)

To keep every donation respectful, safe, and ready to use, we’re not able to accept undergarments, heavily worn fabric, or used swimwear.

Alternatively, if a drive if being run near you, simply drop off your fabric items at the dropoff point.

Volunteer

Volunteer your time in one of our upcoming fabric drives or production sessions.

If you can sew, reach out to hello@fabric4life.org so we can send you our toiletry bag patterns.

We also highly value volunteers who can help with simple tasks like sorting donations, assembling kits, doing drop‑offs, or running a fabric drive at school or work.

We can sign off on high school volunteer hours, allowing you to make a difference that also contributes to your diploma!

Run a Drive or Start a Chapter

Help us stock our fabric supply by running a fabric drive at school or work. To do so, reach out to hello@fabric4life.org to let us know of your plans, and we can send you a digital toolkit to get you started.

Alternatively, reach out to us if you are interested in starting your own chapter of Fabric4Life to extend our work's reach beyond Toronto.
